Heineken River Sundays returns
AFTER a two-month hiatus due to the recent rains that inundated Jamaica, St Elizabeth’s number one entertainment series, Heineken River Sundays will return to its home at Grossman River in Breas River this Sunday, December 5.
The show, which started in April, is held every first Sunday of the month, and has prided itself over the past seven months on bringing positive entertainment to the masses. The promoters plan to make this Sunday’s instalment bigger and better.
Promoter of the event and CEO of Danger Zone Music Group (DZMG), Delmar Drummond, says they have to work harder on this staging. “We had to postpone the event for two months as the rains were seriously affecting the area. Now the event is back and we are going all out to bring back the niceness that the event has been known for.”
This Sunday Heineken River Sundays will feature Colin Hines and DJ Denvo from Fame FM, Kwaku Vybes from Linkz FM and resident sound system Danger Zone. This staging is dubbed retro Christmas and Collin Hines who is renowned for unearthing past hits, will be leading the charge in that respect.
Heineken River Sundays has played host to the who’s who in Jamaican Music including DJ Sunshine, Ce’Cile, Miss Kitty, Jah Cure, Fanton Mojah, Khago and many more. The show has prided itself on providing quality entertainment to the masses in St Elizabeth. The event is free and part proceeds from the food and drink sold will go to community projects.
