Palace Amusement’s Lloyd Alberga passes
LLOYD Alberga, general manager, Palace Amusement company died yesterday, after a brief illness.
He held the distinction of being the longest standing member of staff at Palace Amusement having joined the company in 1943.
Palace Amusement’s managing director Douglas Graham, said that Alberga was an industry stalwart who had witnessed the birth of cinema in Jamaica and had contributed immeasurably to its growth and development over the years. He said Alberga will be truly missed but that his legacy will live on through the many lives he has touched and the wealth of knowledge and information that he shared during his lifetime. Lloyd Alberga is survived by his wife, Juanita.
