“I cannot believe it,” Glenville Carr said. “This must be a joke, there is no way I won this money, what did I do?” he asked.
It was then explained to him that the only thing he had to do was talk. He won because he was randomly selected after making several calls — each minute of billable talk-time used, gave him one entry in the New Year Clarorific campaign which offers a lucky Claro customer a chance to receive a million dollars.
Carr admitted that he loves to talk — he shares the Claro network with his church brothers and sisters of the East Jamaica Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists, and with his close family.
