IT’S that time of year again as the National Council for Indian Culture in Jamaica hosts their annual Roti Festival this Sunday at the Police Officers’ Club.
This year marks the seventh year since the inception of the festival with title endorsement of Ocean Spray.
The continued support from Wisynco Distributors has been greatly received and appreciated by the organisers of the festival and their patrons.
This year, there will be eight different types of roti: dhal, dosti, bus up shut, aloo, onion, cheese, coconut and raisins.
This year the organisers note that the annual crowd favourite of curried mango will be sold as side orders as well as a part of the meal. The entertainment package will begin at 2:00 pm is set to feature Indian performances and renowned show band Fab Five.
