A lot has happened for singer Protoje’s career over the last 12 months. The fast-rising reggae artiste will be the headline act on the One Love Reggae concert tonight, at the Negril Escape Resort.

This is his second appearance on the series. Last year, he delivered a wonderful performance on the weekly concert series when he opened for Tarrus Riley.

Since then, his career has blossomed with the release of his debut album Seven Year Itch, and Protoje has been busy performing overseas in Europe and the USA.

Promoter of the weekly One Love Reggae Concert Winter Series, Carey Wallace said that he is very proud and happy to have Protoje on the series as a headline act, as it shows the level of progress that he has made in a short space of time. Wallace also stated that he is looking forward to exciting performances from Protoje and Mikey Spice who is also billed for the event.

Over the last few weeks, patrons attending the weekly concert series have been treated to some very good performances from the likes of top-flight Reggae artistes, such as Beres Hammond, Toots Hibbert, Luciano and Ky-Mani Marley.
