#LondonDL: Felix wins 400m as J’cans finish 4th, 5th and 9th
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Novlene Williams-Mills , Shericka Jackson and Verone Chambers were fourth, fifth and ninth in the women’s 400m at the London Diamond League won by American Allyson Felix in a world leading 49.65s.
Jackson, the Rio Olympic bronze medallist, once again looked a shadow of herself and after chasing Felix into the straight, faded into fifth with 50.97s. Williams-Mills battled on for fourth with 50.60s while Chambers was at the back in 53.22s from lane one.
American Courtney Okolo closed well for second in a season’s best of 50.29s with Shamier Little third in a personal best of 50.40s. Natasha Hasting was sixth in 50.85s.
