New Era of Ghana Jamaica Association Begins

Tuesday Social witnessed a new era for the Ghana Jamaica Association (GhaJam), when it inaugurated new president Dr William Brown Saturday last at the Salvation Army Eastern Jamaica Divisional Headquarters in Kingston. In front of an intimate gathering of the GhaJam membership, Brown expressed humility about ascending to the role and reaffirmed his commitment in strengthening the ties between Jamaica and Ghana.

“I personally would like to thank my family members and friends who have helped me to rise to this occasion. We have an undying hope in the power of democracy and we would aim to deliver the wishes of our members in a balanced and above-board manner,” Brown said.

“Our association was built on the foundation of brotherhood, culture, pride and the unyielding spirit of Ghanainas who have made Jamaica their home. This moment is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the strength and unity of our organisation.
