Robert Morgan takes jab at Damion Crawford: ‘Spanish Town vanish clown!’

Robert Morgan, the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate for Clarendon North Central, used the opening of his presentation at the party’s mass meeting in Spanish Town, St Catherine, to take a jab at People’s National Party (PNP) candidate for St Catherine North Western, Damion Crawford.

“Spanish Town, dem couldn’t come a Spanish Town with dem clown show. Mi hear Damion Crawford all over the media, but him couldn’t come a Spanish Town with him clown show, because Spanish Town vanish clown!” Morgan told the thousands of JLP supporters.

Crawford has been busy outlining the PNP’s plan for government across the media, as well as across constituencies through campaigning.

According to Morgan, “Choosing the Jamaica Labour Party in this election is the most important decision we will ever make”.

“Mi couldn’t come yah tonight and cuss off PNP, because anuh so Andrew Holness raise we. We nuh wake up a morning time and tink ’bout PNP. We nuh go a we bed a night time and tink ’bout PNP. The only thing we think about a day time a how fi find the good policies fi build up Jamaica and improve the lives of every single Jamaican in a we country,” the minister stated.

Comparing the young people of the JLP to those in the PNP, Morgan said there is no comparison.

He pointed to Kamina Johnson Smith, Floyd Green, Pearnel Charles Jr, and Matthew Samuda – all members of the outgoing Cabinet of ministers – as examples.

“Dem (the PNP) nuh have nobody over deh so weh can compare to the team of Andrew Michael Holness,” said Morga
