#SheneilTakesHisBrettAway

Jamaican Sheneil Fearon and American Brett Parsekian didn’t just believe that love knows no distance — they lived it. After building their relationship across oceans, they overcame every mile marker to commit to a lifetime together.

Their romance began in 2018 when Sheneil, on a trip to California, crossed paths with Brett on the Santa Monica Pier. They instantly bonded over a shared passion for travel, food, and culture.

“When we met, I felt there was something special about him, especially when I looked into his hazel eyes. He spoke kindly and had such a curious mind. The way he talked to me made me feel at ease and relaxed,” Sheneil shared with Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). “Unlike many guys I had met before, he didn’t rush things, which I always found to be a huge turn-off. With him, I could be my authentic self.”

Sheneil, feeling a unique connection — especially captivated by his kind demeanour and curious mind — tested his commitment by giving him her email address in lieu of a phone number. True to her intuition, Brett followed up, building a foundation of friendship that distance couldn’t shake.

Brett’s true character came to the fore in 2019, when he flew to Jamaica to support Sheneil through the loss of her father. His compassion, thoughtful gestures, and genuine embrace of her family were the ultimate assurance. “During that time, I saw just how kind, thoughtful, and family-oriented Brett truly was,” Sheneil revealed to TSV
. The profound support deepened their bond, leading them to formally commit to each other in 2021. After two years of maintaining their connection across the oceans, Brett proposed to her.

“A proposal was kind of top-of-mind during this visit as he had asked for my ring size months earlier. But throughout his visit, nothing happened!”

“But, during a trip to Portland, I went horseback riding up a hill after our traditional photo shoot. Upon reaching the summit, I was greeted by red petals, candles, Brett, ring in hand, down on one knee, asking me to marry him! He had managed to pull off the surprise of my life.”

He certainly had!

Surrounded by their loved ones, they celebrated their nuptials on July 25, 2025, at White Witch Golf Course in Montego Bay.

The wedding, officiated by Silvera C Castro, embraced a chic vintage theme with jewel tones of emerald green and champagne, executed by MCM Collective.

For her special day, Sheneil wore a sweetheart neckline, strapless gown and a delicately beaded corset bodice, while Brett was sharp in a green tuxedo. Escorted by her brother-in-law, Terique Robinson, Sheneil walked up the aisle to Kina Grannis’ cover of Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love.

The reception was a vibrant continuation of the day. Guests shared toasts before the evening climaxed with an exhilarating fire dance performance. Post-dinner, the couple sliced into their three-tiered cake — a vanilla-and-chocolate creation with dulce de leche filling from Tek-A-Bite Jamaica, before officially opening the dance floor to Shayne Ward’s

Breathless, making the closing moments of their celebration unforgettable.

The newly-weds honeymooned at the Princess Senses The Mangrove Resort in Hanover.
