Page 2 continues to celebrate and honour the contributions of alumni, students and staff at the Calabar Old Boys’ Association (COBA) Cocktail Party and Awards Ceremony, held at the University of the West Indies Regional Headquarters in St Andrew on November 22, 2025.

As the night unfolded, MVP Track Club President Bruce James used the platform to deliver a powerful charge to the alumni. Drawing lessons from the development of MVP — now one of the world’s top track clubs — James challenged school stakeholders to establish audacious benchmarks, and crucially, to engage and mentor students from across the island to help them fulfil their potential.

Additionally, to support repairs at Calabar’s sister school Westwood High following Hurricane Melissa, guests were invited to participate in a silent auction featuring works by visual artists Owen Williams and Nahshon Morris.
