Liberty Business powers Mayberry Swim Classic with high-speed connectivity

KINGSTON, Jamaica —  Some of the country’s top swimmers will dive into competition with strong support as Liberty Business, the B2B arm of Liberty Caribbean, the operators of Flow, partners with the Mayberry Swim Classic for the two-day meet.

The meet is scheduled for March 20–21 at the National Stadium pool.

In a release on Tuesday, the company shared that as part of its sponsorship, Liberty Business will provide high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the venue, allowing athletes, coaches, parents and spectators to remain connected during the competition.

The Mayberry Swim Classic is widely recognised as an important platform for swimmers to sharpen their competitive skills and gain valuable experience in a professional environment.

By providing reliable internet access, Liberty Business aims to enhance the overall experience for attendees. This includes enabling the real-time sharing of race highlights and supporting seamless communication among teams, officials and event organisers.

Senior Director of Liberty Business, Charles Manus, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening sporting experiences through technology.

“Events like the Mayberry Swim Classic play a vital role in nurturing Jamaica’s next generation of sporting talent,” he said.

“At Liberty Business, we recognise that connectivity is an essential part of modern sporting events. By providing reliable Wi-Fi access, we are helping athletes, supporters and organisers remain connected while celebrating these young competitors and their achievements,” he continued.

Manus also noted that the company’s investment in connectivity is supported by the strong network performance of Flow Jamaica.

“Flow was recently recognised by Ookla for having Jamaica’s fastest mobile network. This means customers can expect a high-quality connectivity experience whether they are streaming races, sharing moments online or staying in touch,” he added.

In addition to providing connectivity, Flow will also maintain a presence at the event with exclusive handset promotions. Patrons will have the opportunity to access special offers on some of the latest smartphones, along with flexible payment plans designed to make it easier to pair the best devices with the best mobile plans.
