Suit Up!
Lifestyle, Tuesday Style
December 9, 2025

Suit Up!

There’s a certain glitzy formula we’ve come to expect from the stylistas during the festive season. Dresses in lush sequins, figure-hugging, velvet floor-grazers, and lavishly oversized ballgowns with frivolous layers of tulle are all fail-safe choices for the season’s ritzy events. But, in a sea of gowns, nothing stands out quite like a beautifully tailored suit. For years, we’ve watched in awe as celebs have strutted the ruby rug in bespoke fits. From Bianca Jagger’s seminal Yves Saint Laurent wedding suit, to Julia Roberts’ iconic 90s Armani moment at the 1990 Golden Globes, and more recent triumphs like actress Zendaya’s custom Louis Vuitton ivory look at the 2025 Met Gala, and American rapper and singer Doechii suiting up in Thom Browne for the 2025 Grammys, nothing delivers confidence like a woman in a great suit.

And for the 2025 festive season — which we imagine will be scaled back due to the devastation in the west — we’re taking cues from the A-listers and pulling out looks we’ve styled before. From slouchy options to form-fitting, snazzy cuts, here’s the Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) edit of suits and tailored looks, elevated to befit the season’s glamour!
