Lime Hall Academy will hope to extend their perfect win record in the Jamaica Football Championship when they play away to WiFi United in a Zone A game at Carder Park in Portland set to start at 3:30 this afternoon.

Lime Hall Academy, former finalists and Premier League campaigners, have raced to three victories in a row. They lead Zone A with nine points, two more than first-time championship team WiFi United.

Lime Hall have scored 13 goals so far and are coming off a 6-2 win over Baptist Alliance last weekend. Sajay Anderson and Carlos Campbell have both scored two goals each so far to lead Lime Hall Academy and will be on the hunt for more goals.

They will face a WiFi United team that is coming off a 1-0 win last weekend. WiFi have given up four goals in as many games.

Zone B leaders Humble Lion FC will also be going after a fourth-straight win when they play away to STETHS Elite FA at STETHS Sports Complex in Santa Cruz.

Sakka Club Brown’s Town, who are also on nine points in Zone A, will be away to Tru-Juice FC.

Elsewhere, Meadforest FC and Gray’s Inn SC, both on four points, are to meet at Bell-Chung Oval; Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and Progressive are scheduled to clash; Duncan’s United will be away to St Bess United; Falmouth United are to host Holland PYC.

On Sunday, Petersfield FC and Roaring River FC are set to face off in a Westmoreland derby at Llandilo Complex.

Humble Lion have been on a roll since their opening 1-1 result against Duncan’s United. Humble Lion have scored 10 goals in their last three outings and will start favourites despite playing away.

STETHS Elite FA were surprised 0-4 last week by Roaring River FC and will hope to rebound at home. But in Humble Lion they face one of the better teams in the competition with players who played in the Jamaica Premier League last season.

Humble Lion’s Nathaniel Henry and Douglas Whitely have combined for five goals so far and are expected to lead the Clarendon-based club’s attack.

Sakka Club Brown’s Town, who are also on a good run, will face Tru-Juice, who are hoping for a return to the semi-finals. Tru-Juice are only two points behind the St Ann-based club.

JDF have blown hot and cold so far, beating Gray’s Inn 5-0 in one game, but losing their other three by 0-1 margins. But they will be at home at Up Park Camp against Progressive FC of Portland, losers of all three games so far.

Duncan’s United sparkled in their opening 1-1 result against Humble Lion but lost their next two games. They will hope for a win against St Bess United.

Falmouth United are also seeking their first win of the season when they host Holland PYC, who won two of their last three games.
