Police seize 70 bags of compressed ganja in Hellshire
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police on Monday seized 70 bags of compressed ganja weighing between 30 and 50 pounds in Hellshire, St Catherine.
No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure and the street value of the drug was not revealed.
Reports are that lawmen assigned to the Marine Division seized the illicit drug along with approximately 800 litres of mixed gasoline and several bags containing clothing and food items during an operation conducted in the coastal community.
The items are believed to be linked to organised illegal activities being conducted along the coastline.
Investigations are ongoing.
