Gird. Your. Loins.

If you’re anything like us — overcaffeinated, fashion-obsessed, and spiritually aligned with Miranda Priestley — you’ve been counting down the days until
The Devil Wears Prada 2 finally graces cinemas on Friday, May 1. Because, let’s be clear: This isn’t just a sequel; it’s a cultural reset.

The original 2006 film didn’t just exist — it defined an era. Cerulean wasn’t just a colour; it was a lecture. And nearly 20 years later, we’re still taking notes.

Now, with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway returning as the effortlessly terrifying Miranda Priestley and the once-clueless (now, we assume, impeccably tailored) Andy Sachs, expectations aren’t high — they’re stratospheric.

Naturally, we’re doing our due diligence, dissecting every hemline and silhouette from the New York premiere, all in preparation for our own moment: The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Carib 5 premiere on Thursday, April 30. A day early — as it should be.

Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. This premiere? Non-negotiable.

Now. This. Is. A. Dress!!! For your ‘fit choice to attend the Rock premiere tap into the Prada-esque 90s sheer skirt trend with Soigneé Boutique’s 3D Bustier Floral Gown… soigneebyshanacole.com

That’s All! And if you’re not feeling dresses, recreate Emily Blunt, or should we say Emily Charlston’s menswear-inspired look spotted last July on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City. It was our first sighting of Blunt in costume, and the Dior sunnies and shirt styled with a Wiederhoeft corset top, pinstriped Jean Paul Gaultier trousers, and Paloma Sneaker Heel from Jamaican-American designer Brandon Blackwood was everything! .

By All Means, SLAY! We’re all seeing red after Anne Hathaway stepped out in that now-viral scarlet Louis Vuitton gown by Nicolas Ghesquière at the film’s New York premiere, and entrepreneur and stylista Sushana Cole feels the same. She believes Look 600 from her online boutique, Soigneé, would be the perfect fiery choice for the occasion. soigneebyshanacole.com
