Imotionz shows love to female fans with new single ‘Top Tier’

Emerging Jamaican recording artiste Imotionz is looking to capitalise on the viral success of his single Pretty with his latest release, Top Tier, a track dedicated to the female supporters he credits with helping to propel his growing music career.

Released on October 2, the new single reflects the entertainer’s appreciation for his female fanbase, whose response to his previous release has influenced the direction of his music.

According to Imotionz, the reception to Pretty helped him better understand his audience and encouraged him to continue producing music that resonates with women.

“The viral success of Pretty opened my eyes to my fanbase, which is the ladies. The message always connects, so I felt like it was right to keep giving them what they want,” he said.

Written by Imotionz, with track credits shared by the artiste and DonFlakes, Top Tier forms part of his efforts to maintain momentum in Jamaica’s competitive music industry.

The Linstead, St Catherine, artiste attracted attention earlier this year with Pretty, a collaboration with dancehall producer Week.day, who also hails from the community.

Released on the Moonlight rhythm, the track gained traction online, with listeners creating social media content around the song.

The collaboration also highlighted an existing musical relationship between Imotionz and Week.day, who previously worked together on the single Regrets.

In an earlier interview with the Observer Online, Week.day praised the entertainer’s talent and professionalism, noting that Regrets had accumulated more than 300,000 streams at the time.

Known for blending melodic vocals with emotionally driven lyrics, Imotionz draws inspiration from real-life experiences, relationships and personal struggles. His musical style incorporates both heartfelt storytelling and energetic sounds, allowing him to connect with listeners across different moods and experiences.

His catalogue also includes songs such as Miss You, Antisocial and Trophy, reflecting his continued efforts to establish himself in the music industry.

With Top Tier, the entertainer is seeking to strengthen his connection with female listeners while introducing his music to new audiences.

As his fanbase continues to grow across streaming platforms and social media, Imotionz has set his sights on expanding his reach beyond Jamaica, while remaining committed to the authentic storytelling that has helped shape his musical identity.
