StylaForLife gains int’l momentum with Silk Boss collab

Dancehall artiste StylaForLife is gaining international momentum with his Silk Boss collaboration Boom, as the single secures chart placements and support from Jamaican radio personalities and selectors.

Released on September 4, 2026, the energetic, female-focused track was produced by Real Shellaz Muzik, with the rhythm created by Vital Beats.

It reached #1 on the iTunes Reggae Music Videos chart and #5 on the iTunes Reggae Songs chart.

For StylaForLife, the response offers encouragement as he works to build his name in Jamaica and reach audiences overseas.

“I’m grateful for the reception the song has been getting, especially seeing it appearing on the charts and reaching listeners outside Jamaica. Big respect to Silk Boss for coming on the track and bringing his energy and creativity,” he said.

“The collaboration came together naturally, and I’m happy with what we’ve accomplished so far. This is the kind of progress we’ve been working towards, and it motivates me to push even harder.”

Producer Real Shellaz Muzik, also known as Lando Shella or Worldclass Shella, brought the artistes together after recognising the potential of pairing their contrasting styles.

The resulting studio session produced a track built around an upbeat rhythm, with each artiste contributing his own style.

“Both artistes were professional, creative, and easy to work with in the studio. The chemistry was natural, and each brought something different to the production,” the producer said.

He added that the reception has rewarded the effort invested in the collaboration.

“We knew we had a strong record, but seeing the response locally and internationally, particularly the chart placements, has been very encouraging. It’s a testament to the talent of both artistes and the work the entire team has invested in the project,” he shared.

StylaForLife also credits radio personalities and selectors with helping introduce the song to listeners. Among those supporting its promotion are DJ Collision and DJ Bryan, Wicked Foot, Neeko Fire, DJ Skinny, Jazzy Vybz, DJ Ruxie, and DJ Tom.

As he builds his catalogue, the artiste says authenticity remains central to his approach. He describes his recorded voice and delivery as an extension of his everyday personality, allowing him to maintain a recognisable sound.

His next release, tentatively titled Good Body, will explore a softer, more melodic direction, offering listeners another side of his style.

Boom is available on major digital streaming platforms, and its official music video can be viewed on YouTube.
