Scotiabank ready for road to Oregon
Scotiabank is once again proud to partner with the Jamaica Observer to deliver print and online coverage of the highly anticipated 2022 World Athletics Championships in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Like all Jamaicans, we continue to be inspired by the resilience of our athletes and are happy to support them as they prepare to deliver another round of inspiring performances. We look forward to all the breaking news, insightful commentary and daily print and digital coverage that the “O” Team is known to deliver as they take us behind the scenes of the championships.
Scotiabank has long been a supporter of sporting events and through this sponsorship we are holding to tradition to ensure that Jamaicans at home and abroad can reignite their national pride, camaraderie, and togetherness in this our 60th year of Independence.
This year, we are even more excited to witness our first-ever brand ambassador, the newest member of the Scotiabank Team, Olympic gold and bronze medallist Shericka Jackson, as she takes to the track to compete in her varying events. All the best, Shericka! You have already made us tremendously proud.
As our athletes represent Jamaica on one of the world’s biggest athletic stages, they can also listen out for the screams of the Scotiabank family, who will be in the stands cheering them along. In partnership with Mastercard, we are proud to announce that the winners of our ‘Swipe Here, Fly There’ promotion, two lucky Scotiabank customers and their guests, will be attending the games in person.
To Team Jamaica, we express our heartiest congratulations and unconditional support as you represent our country with pride. We also salute all the local bodies and stakeholders that are now working together to pave the road to Oregon for our athletes.
Scotiabank remains a proud supporter as you continue to fly the Jamaican flag high and showcase our island on the world’s premier athletics stage.
From Jamaica to the world — let’s show them how it’s done!
