DANCEHALL artist Moses Davis, more popularly known as Beenie Man, has been arrested by the Hunt’s Bay police, resulting from an incident on Saturday with entertainment personality, L A Lewis.
Beenie Man’s manager, 'Blue' said in a telephone interview with the Observer a short while ago, that he was in the process of getting bail for the deejay.
“Yes … it has to do with the LA Lewis incident. Right now we don’t have a lawyer. I am dealing with getting him bailed myself,” Blue said in a hurried conversation.
Last Saturday, after the funeral service for Voicemail member, O’Neil Edwards, LA Lewis reportedly ran into the back of Beenie Man’s spanking Audi Q 7. It is alleged that Beenie Man came out of his vehicle and physically accosted LA Lewis.
The police said they got reports that guns were drawn in the incident and say they will be questioning the deejay about the reports.

This is foolishness Beenie still don't get it, life is more important than a car this incident could have cost a life... It was not worth it.

Is now him visa done! LOL. Forfeit untold millions in earnings, jail time, bail and lawyer fees for a likkle scratch an a dent - LOL - on a Q7... Maybe if it was a $150 million JMD Bugatti Veyron, but a $6 million JMD Q7? Bwoy Beenie a have it hard man... He certainly didn't do the cost benefit analysis before he decided to slap up LA, as opposed to just having his vehicle written off, if possible, or simply fixed. No financial wisdom, these deejays.

Bwoy oh bwoy, things have changed a lot within the last few weeks. Not too long ago, 'Gun pon Teeth,' Ninja-man,
Purposely toyed wid wicked man Adams over Jam-world, and even topped of the distasteful ritual wid a big dutty, rusty 9 mm,which he calmly presented to SSAP.Today though, a top celebrity had been cuffed & dragged through down town,in clear view of fans & foes. It's not often that I get a chance to utter the following; but fi dat mi seh, nuff respect to sergeant Brown, a peace we seh.

These Entertainer thugs are NO role model for my children and it is time that WE need to publicly chastise these idiots and boycott buying their music and attending their shows. Parents must impress on their children that these gunmen in disguise should be look upon as just garbage. If we law abiding people do not buy their junk or go to their shows, then they will be nobody and will crawl back under the rock from whence they came. We all have a role to play in young people’s lives and it is time we take a stand and reach out to those that want to look up to these miscreants call entertainers. Role model my ........
