29-y-o inmate escapes custody
KINGSTON, Jamaica — An inmate of the Diamond Crest facility in St Elizabeth has escaped from the correction centre about 4:40 pm Wednesday.
On the run is 29-year-old Romaine Robinson otherwise called Shotta, Oneil or Crab.
Robinson was admitted to the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre in 2012 to serve a seven year sentence for robbery with aggravation.
He is 176 cm tall, stout build, dark complexion with a tattoo on his lower left arm.
His last known address is Burnt Ground, St Elizabeth.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Robinson is asked to contact the nearest police station or the Correction Department’s 24 hour Operation Unit at 967-2781-3 or 750-3660.
