Broken main on Marcus Garvey Drive affects water supply
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising that customers along Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply as a result of a broken main in the area.
Customers are being advised that the NWC team is carrying out the necessary repairs, which should be completed by Thursday, November 3.
Marcus Garvey Drive and all roads leading off it are affected, the NWC said.
Meanwhile, NWC said customers that are served by the Chancery Hall Pump Station as well as residents of Smokey Vale will experience a disruption in their regular water supply until Friday, November 4, due to technical problems at the facilities.
Areas to be affected will include Chancery Hall Heights, East Kirkland and Smokey Vale, NWC said.
