CARICOM education ministers to meet in Guyana
GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC) — Education ministers from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will meet in Guyana on Friday.
The Guyana-based CARICOM Secretariat said that the ministers and their officials will be attending the 37th meeting of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD), which will be addressed by St Vincent and the Grenadines Education Minister St Clair Prince, who is also the COHSOD chairman.
CARICOM Secretary General, Irwin LaRocque, the Chancellor of the University of Guyana (UG) — Professor Nigel Harris and a representative of the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will also address the one-day meeting.
The Secretariat gave no indication as to the agenda items.
