Cashier allegedly spotted by customer stealing money
A cashier who was reportedly busted for stealing a little over $100,000 from the supermarket, after she was allegedly spotted by a customer taking the money from the till, is scheduled to return to court on January 24 of next year.
The court heard on Wednesday that the accused, Keesa Jones, was caught on camera removing money from the till at the supermarket.
Allegations are that she was reported to her boss after a customer saw her taking money and putting it in her bag.
Following a review of the camera footage, she was reportedly seen going into the till on a number of other occasions.
Allegations are that she told the police that she was taking money which she had collected as tips from customers and had put back into the till.
On Wednesday she pleaded not guilty to the charge and her bail was extended by Judge Collins.
