Cops find gun after shoot-out with hoodlums in Hanover
HANOVER, Jamaica — Police officers attached to the Lucea Police Station seized a firearm and ammunition during a special operation in Jew Hill district, Hanover, on Saturday.
Reports are that about 5:30 am, a team was carrying out an operation when they came under heavy gunfire.
They reportedly returned fire and the men ran.
During a search of the area, the police say a Colt .45 pistol with magazine containing three .45 rounds of ammunition was seized.
The police say investigations are continuing.
