AN unidentified man was shot and killed by cops from the St Catherine North Division yesterday afternoon during the intense gun battle in areas of Spanish Town between the Police and criminals aligned to the Clansman gang which is based in Spanish Town.
Two illegal firearms were seized – an AK-47 rifle and a .38 revolver. Also seized were 22 rounds of assorted ammunition.
The fatal shooting has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
