Delay in March Pen murder accused incest hearing
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Reputed gangster Marvin ‘Fat Man’ Campbell who was scheduled to answer to incest and rape charges in the St Catherine Parish Court this morning was not brought to court.
An officer of the court informed that Campbell would not be brought to court until next Tuesday but gave no reason for the decision.
Campbell who is an alleged member of the Spanish Town-based Klansman Gang was yesterday charged with five counts of murder and is scheduled to appear in court for those charges next Tuesday.
He is accused of leading a group of gunmen to his family’s house on March Pen Road in Spanish Town, where the five people were killed and their house torched.
The victims were identifted as Salesha Evans, 24, and her nine-year-old son Revaughn Evans, Vaniesha Bartley, 22, and her two year old daughter Koyandra Wynter; and 14-year-old Marvin Campbell Jr.
The Police High Command listed Campbell as a person of interest in the killings and asked him to turn himself in. He later surrendered to the police in the company of Bishop Rohan Edwards.
