Double murder on St Catherine pig farm
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Detectives in the St Catherine South Division are probing the shooting death of two men in the Newlands area of Portmore, St Catherine on Thursday.
Dead are 20-year-old Rasheed Rattray, otherwise called ‘Tittyman’, of Lauriston, Spanish Town and 25-year-old Paul Nicholson, otherwise called ‘Sanchez’, farmer of Tower Lane, Newlands, both in St Catherine.
Reports from the Portmore Police are that about 7:15 pm, both men were on a pig farm in the vicinity of Anglin Lane in Newlands, when explosions were heard. The police were summoned and on their arrival, both men were seen with multiple gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
