Farmer killed following argument over goats
ST MARY, Jamaica — A St Mary farmer was chopped to death by another farmer on Friday, June 13 in a dispute over goats.
According to the St Mary police 32-year-old Dwayne Brown of Forte George Road in Annotto Bay was fatally wounded at about 8:00 pm by another farmer, who later turned himself over to the police.
The two reportedly had an argument along Forte George Road over goats when the accused man, a 21-year-old farmer of Crab Hall also in Annotto Bay allegedly used a machete to inflict several wounds on Brown.
Brown was taken to the Annotto Bay Hospital where he died while being treated.
The matter is being investigated by the Annotto Bay Police.
