Gunmen kill woman in Spanish Town

SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Gunmen this morning shot and killed a woman in Spanish Town triggering shock among residents of the Ensom City community.

Police report that the woman was on her way to work when she was attacked and gunned down by criminals who then made their escape.

The name of the victim, who is believed to be in her 30s, has not yet been released.

Police are yet to establish a motive for the shooting.
