KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ninety-three schools and 4,000 athletes will be participating in this year’s Inter-Primary School Athletics Championship at the National Stadium from April 29-May 2.

The event will be launched at the Alhambra Inn in Kingston next week Tuesday, at a briefing which will start at 10:00 am.

Seprod, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, will again be partnering with Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) for the staging of the championship. The company is supporting the event through a $20-million sponsorship programme, through its Monster Milk and Butterkist brands.

Seprod Group’s Marketing Manager, Roger Thompson, has said that the company is happy to be supporting the event during its 75th anniversary celebrations, as evidence of its commitment to “growing Jamaica’s sporting prowess and our children’s competitive spirit”.

Seprod’s sponsorship also covers support for the annual Inter-Prep Schools Championships in May.
