KSAC clamp down on illegal vendors in downtown Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) yesterday carried out an operation to rid sections of downtown Kingston of vendors who are operating illegally.

The operation, which started about 10:00 am, saw officials removing several stalls that were placed illegally on the sidewalks in the commercial hub.

The operation left several vendors fuming.

Authorities say they are planning to carry out similar operations in the area in coming weeks.
