Man wanted in triple murder held at airport
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man who was wanted by the police in connection with the murder of three men in St James was held at the Sangster International Airport on his return to the island Wednesday, July 16.
In custody is 26-year-old Orane Bernard otherwise called ‘City Puss’ of Flanker, St James.
According to the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), Bernard fled the island in 2006 after three men were attacked and killed by gunmen in the parish on December 14 that year.
Two other men — Acroy Sterling and Lennox Bernard — were subsequently charged with the murders following investigations.
Bernard is to appear before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court later this month.
