Marsha Jarrett wins JCDC Gospel song competition

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Marsha Jarrett, with her emotionally charged entry ‘Send Up the Praise’ is the 2016 winner of the JCDC Gospel song competition. The grand final took place tonight (July 31) at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.

Jarrett won from a field of nine other competitors.

Finishing in second place was Filicia Morrison Williams with her entry ‘Can You Reach Me’. Third place went to Sherlon Russell with ‘Jesus Lives In Me’.

Apart from a cash prize of $400,000, Jarrett also won four sectional prizes including best performance.
