Missing senior citizen found in freezer with throat slashed
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The Area 3 police are investigating the death of an elderly Manchester woman who was reported missing on Tuesday.
She is 67-year-old Lema Arthurs of the Greenvale Housing Scheme in Mandeville.
Police reports are that about 8:00 pm Wednesday, a relative found her body in a freezer at her home.
Upon closer inspection by the police, it was observed that her throat had been slashed.
No motive has yet been established for Arthur’s murder.
