Paint fumes cause closure of Constant Spring tax office
ST ANDREW, Jamaica —The Constant Spring tax office was this morning closed after paint fumes from upgrade work done at the facility began affecting members of staff.
Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) said the decision was also taken after assessing the potential risk posed for waiting customers.
Staff from the Constant Spring office were redeployed to the alternate locations to bolster teams there due to the increased customer traffic, TAJ said.
