Police kill two men in Payne Land

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police has confirmed that two men were shot and killed earlier today on Uganda Drive in Payne Land, St Andrew.
Preliminary reports are that a police team from the St Andrew Central Division went into the area in search of men who were wanted for the murder of Kirk 'Chef' Forsythe, a resident of Olympic Gardens who was killed last year.
According to the police the two men were killed during a confrontation with the police. Two firearms were seized; one sub machine gun and one 9mm pistol, the police said.
The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
