Police out in numbers for Jamaica Observer TSO
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are maintaining a strong presence in downtown Kingston as Jamaica Observer’s yearly Takes Style Out kicks off its five hours of retail therapy.
Inspector Eucal Francis told OBSERVER ONLINE that a significant number of police officers will be out for the duration of the shopping experience to ensure that citizens feel safe and secure while conducting business.
He said so far, the evening has been incident free and he expects the remainder of the evening to continue that way.
Great bargains await shoppers across the island from participating stores as the event, which is now in its seventh staging, aims at stimulating retail sales.
