Police seek help in identifying burnt body
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The Area 1 Major Investigation Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying one of two burnt bodies found in a silver Nissan Urvan minibus in Ashton district, Westmoreland on Monday, March 7.
Reports are that about 10:00 am, lawmen were alerted to the burnt minibus with the remains inside. On arrival of the lawmen, the scene was processed and the remains of 27-year-old Mofolumeso Adunfa, otherwise called ‘Chris’, of Rochester Avenue, Kingston 8 and a man known only as ‘Abdul’ were removed to the morgue pending post mortem examinations.
Anyone with information that can assist the police in positively identifying the man known only as ‘Abdul’, who is believed to be of Nigerian nationality, is being asked to contact the Area 1 Major Investigations Division at 954-3222, the Bethel Town Police at 957-1658, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
