Police seize M16 rifle in Dunkirk

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police on Tuesday seized a high-powered weapon in the volatile East Kingston community of McKintyre Villa also known as Dunkirk.

Head of the Mobile Reserve, Assistant Commissioner of Police Winchroy Budhoo, said that at about 1:30pm police were carrying out an operation in an area called Banana Street when an M16 rifle and several rounds of ammunition were found.
