Portia requests certified copies of integrity reports from commission
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller has written to the Integrity Commission, requesting the release, to her, of certified and signed copies of integrity reports she submitted for the years 2006 to 2015.
In a letter to Chairman of the Integrity Commission Paul Harrison, which was shared with the media, Simpson Miller told the chairman that she intends to release copies of her filings over the last 10 years to the public.
The Opposition leader also requested that the Commission indicate to her, in writing, the dates the reports were received and whether or not she has ever been reported for any breaches.
A statement from the Office of the Leader of the Opposition said once the reports are received, Simpson Miller will release the documents to the media “appropriately redacted to remove sensitive details”.
