Residents demand justice after man killed in crash

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – Residents of James Mount in St Catherine have blocked the Sligoville main road in protest over last Friday’s death of a resident who was hit by a car in the area.

The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old farmer Albert Palmer.

According to residents, he was hit on Friday and succumbed to his injuries on Saturday night.

The residents are demanding justice and accusing the police of not properly investigating the matter.
