Reverend Al Miller to address nation Sunday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Controversial clergyman Rev Al Miller is expected to deliver a new year message to the nation Sunday on Television Jamaica (TVJ).
The address is scheduled for 8:30 pm, Miller announced Thursday during Watch Night Service at his mega church Fellowship Tabernacle on Fairfield Avenue, Kingston 20.
In making the announcement, the highly respected Miller advised the public to tune in to his broadcast, but he gave no indication as to what he will be telling the nation.
His address will come a day ahead of his reappearance in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Monday, where his attempting to pervert the course of justice case is set for mention.
The pastor was arrested and charged for attempting to pervert the course of justice in 2010, after then fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke was found in his motor vehicle along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine.
Miller gave evidence in his trial that he was taking Coke to surrender to the authorities at the United States Embassy in Kingston, as previously agreed to by the police high command.
