Section of Marcus Garvey Drive to be closed this weekend

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Sections of Marcus Garvey Drive will be closed on Sunday (February 26) to vehicular traffic, to facilitate work by the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSCo).

A news release from the National Works Agency (NWA) said that the intersection of East Avenue and Industrial Terrace will be closed between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 am.

Resulting from the closure, motorists wishing to travel towards downtown Kingston from the direction of Tinson Pen will be diverted onto East Avenue and Spanish Town Road.

Those motorists travelling from downtown, Kingston towards the Portmore Toll Road will be re-routed along Industrial Terrace and Spanish Town Road.
