Section of NE St Elizabeth constituency office destroyed by fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A section of the constituency office in North Eastern St Elizabeth was this morning destroyed by fire.
Details surrounding the incident are unclear at this time.
However, there has been political turmoil in the constituency after sitting Member of Parliament Raymond Pryce was challenged by businessman Evon Redman for the seat.
In a statement issued by Team PNP on behalf of the first-time MP, Pryce said he took the decision to withdraw his name from the selection process.
Redman was later approved by the party’s executive to be the standard-bearer for the constituency in the next general election.
