Stolen gun recovered in Alligator Pond
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A team of police officers from the Manchester division seized a firearm and four rounds of ammunition during an operation in Alligator Pond, Manchester, yesterday.
Reports from police in Alligator Pond are that about 9:00 am, the police were on an operation in the area when a premises was searched and the firearm – a Glock pistol with an empty magazine – was allegedly found. The ammunition was found in another area of the premises. The firearm is believed to have been stolen just this month.
The police say no arrest was made in connection with the recovery.
