Students injured in Manchester bus spill

MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A bus from Balaclava, St Elizabeth transporting students from various schools in Manchester overturned this morning, seriously injuring some passengers.

A van is said to have crashed into the bus shortly before 7:00am and left several students with broken bones, according to witnesses. The bus driver was also reportedly injured.

The incident happened in the vicinity of New Green in Manchester. 

Some of the injured students are said to be from the DeCarteret College and Manchester High School.
