Teens held with homemade gun in Vineyard Town
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Police in the Kingston East Division are reporting the seizure of a homemade firearm in the Vineyard Town area of Kingston on Monday.
Two boys — one 15 and the other 17 years old — were taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
Reports from the Vineyard Town police are that about 11:40 pm, police on patrol saw two males acting in a suspicious manner.
The police reportedly accosted them and the firearm found when they were searched.
However, the police have not released their names, saying instead that names are being withheld pending further investigations.
