Trial of cops in Shrewsbury killing switched to Trelawny
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The murder trial of police constables, Kenroy Hines and Domane Campbell, for the shooting death of three men in Shrewsbury, Westmoreland in March has been transferred from the Westmoreland Circuit Court to the Trelawney Circuit Court.
The cops are to appear in that court on Monday, November 11.
Hines and Campbell are charged with the fatal shooting of 28 year-old fireman Andrew Brydson, his 24 year-old brother Tristan Brydson and their 38 year-old cousin Kingsley Green.
Lawyer for the accused said that the move was intended to ensure a fair trial following negative publicity about the shooting incident in Westmoreland.
