Triple murder in Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The police are reporting that they have commenced an investigation into yesterday’s shooting deaths of three men on Old Harbour Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The men have been identified as: 37-year-old Shawn Baccas, otherwise called ‘Rugo’, 58-year-old Derwin Prince, otherwise called ‘Rasta’, and 37-year-old Anthony Rose, otherwise called ‘Mark’. They are all of Old Harbour Road addresses in the parish.
Reports from the Spanish Town police are that about 10:00 pm, the three men were at a bar on Old Harbour Road playing a game of dominoes when two men entered the establishment.
The men reportedly ordered drinks at the bar before opening gunfire at the men.
All three were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The gunmen escaped in the area.
