Brady says petition to wind up NetServ was withdrawn
ATTORNEY Harold Brady said yesterday that his petition to wind up NetServ Communications (Jamaica) Limited to recover US$18,116.73 was withdrawn from the court after the appointment of the receiver.
“The petition was filed at least two months to the appointment of the receiver and we informed the NIBJ (National Investment Bank of Jamaica) at all stages. Upon being notified of the appointment, we wrote to the receiver indicating our intention to have the matter amicably resolved
“Based upon the discussions and having regard to the law, we agreed with the attorneys for the receiver to have the matter withdrawn from the court,” Brady said yesterday.
